Field Worker

Vegetable, fruit and rice field work for Sunshine Horticultures Sdn Bhd at Ringlet, Cameron Highlands, Pahang. Contract of three years, extendable by mutual agreement.

Eight working hours a day; overtime as per Malaysian labour law. The employer provides accommodation, and transport between the accommodation and the workplace. Food is on the worker's own account.

The employer pays the levy and it is not deducted from salary for the full three years. Insurance premium, SOCSO contribution and the annual medical examination are also paid by the employer. Free air passage on completion of the three-year contract.

Salary is paid by the 7th of the following month. If the Malaysian minimum wage is officially increased during the contract, the basic salary rises by the same amount.

Who can apply

Male, 21 to 45 years of age. Applicants must come from an agricultural background with practical working experience in agriculture or plantation fields — this is a requirement of the employer's demand letter, not a preference. Valid Pakistani passport. Medical fitness as required for Malaysia. Selection is by test and interview at our Rawalpindi office.
